I was lucky enough to read one of them when I was in high school, and then read it all again in college. Impressed by the author's writing style. Follow the author's writing style and step into Zixu's world. He walked alone in the desolate wilderness, fearlessly accepting the call for revenge in his heart. The world is vast and far away, but none of the lights in the houses are lit for Wu Zixu. Countless pedestrians pass by, but no one stays for Zixu. What a lonely situation. Everyone in the world knows about Zixu's success, but few can experience the loneliness and desolation on his road to success. The author uses exquisite writing to calmly show the world what a generation of celebrities encountered on their journey, which is admirable.
During the college entrance examination review, I read and understood "On the River" and was deeply attracted by this article. Wu Zixu, who was determined to take revenge, met a fisherman. The fisherman helped him cross the river and also crossed him. They met by chance. The fisherman finally left, leaving Wu Zixu alone to express his gratitude for the extradition and regard him as an "unknown friend", thinking about him again. Encounter... I like it so much. The relationship between people is so wonderful. Small and inadvertent things will have a huge impact on another person. Only those who benefit from it understand how valuable this extradition is, and they value the encounter between people more. This is the point that pokes me the most. I can't express my feelings in words, but I can't help but express my feelings hahaha
The chaff selected for the college entrance examination is different.
After completing Chinese reading comprehension in high school, I regretted encountering the article "On the River" [laughs] At that time, I collected several reading comprehension articles on "On the River" and prayed to finish reading "On the River", but it was too limited. Now mobile phones are very convenient. I finished it. I am very satisfied and like it very much [laughs]
In the school essay competition, I inexplicably chose Wu Zixu as the material. I remembered that Douyin seemed to have collected a video discussing "On the River", so I quickly read it. The 130,000 words can be read in one or two hours. Teacher Feng Zhi's writing style is elegant. I really like some of the adaptations of history, which are quite innovative, especially the part about Chu Kuang and Feng Ge. I learned about Chu Kuang for the first time. (Chu Kuang took Yu Ge and passed Confucius and said: "Feng Xi Feng Xi, how can the virtues decline? Those who have gone before cannot be admonished, but those who have come can still be pursued. That's it! Those who are in politics today are gone!" Confucius came down and wanted to talk to him. He tried to avoid it, but he couldn't talk to him.) Before reading it, I thought that this book would focus on the most famous parts of Wu Zixu's life, including giving a sword to a fisherman, whipping the corpse of King Chu Ping, and throwing a thousand gold coins into a lake to repay a favor. It would complete the story of Wu Zixu's life, but it didn't happen like this. Later, it is said that Teacher Feng Zhi's thoughts about Wu Zixu determined that only Wu Zixu "died" in the first half. Ordinary people would definitely write about how Wu Zixu succeeded in revenge. But after reading the essay, it became even more difficult for me to start writing it. Wu Zixu's life was full of ups and downs. The theme of revenge has always been a prominent feature in literature, and many works focus on depicting the two "deaths" of the Avengers. The first is how to survive with a blood feud and wait for the opportunity to take revenge. The second is how to go crazy in the entanglement with the enemy and move toward self-destruction. The two are often indispensable, and Wu Zixu happens to have both, and the author's rewriting is very subtle. The benefactor did not show much kindness to Wu Zixu. On the way to escape, he only had a mouthful of food and a ferry trip, but Wu Zixu survived the hatred and survived.
This book is extremely helpful for readers to cultivate their mental state. It's just that many ancient texts in the text are not commonly encountered in modern times, and there are relatively few related books, so they may be obscure and difficult to understand when reading. In order to facilitate readers to better understand the content of the book, I consulted the information and made some notes in the paragraph comments.
This book allowed me to see the courage and determination of a girl who longed to get out of the mountains. Wu Zixu's story is full of adventures and challenges. I am deeply inspired by his persistence and struggle. As the book says: "Wu Zixu's escape path reflects the difficulties in life that everyone will experience." We may all encounter difficulties in life, but as long as we have courage and determination, we can overcome difficulties and move towards our goals. This book is not only a story about history, but also an apocalypse about life.
Mr. Feng Zhi rewrote the historical story, weakening the legendary color of the story, enhancing the practical significance, expressing the discovery and praise of ordinary "people" during the Anti-Japanese War, containing the people-oriented idea, and using the "new edition" of historical "story" to present the real creative subject in history, that is, the people. Such a plot has a metaphorical meaning. As Mr. Feng Zhi's student Mu Dan (Zha Liangzheng) said, "A nation has risen."
I think during Zixu's escape journey, he was full of hatred, lonely, persistent but yearning for beauty. But the burden on him is too heavy, he must be very tired~
It was a very immersive experience, and what I saw and heard along the way was impressive. Zixu has grown up, but it's a pity that he didn't get to see the final revenge.
Teacher Feng Zhi's youthful and romantic writing style, which is a mixture of classical Chinese and vernacular, is my favorite so far. "You have crossed the river for me, and you have also crossed my hatred. Maybe one day, you will ferry me back." I really hope that day will come, and Zixu will complete his mission perfectly, and truly achieve "the wind calms down and the waves remain calm."
The adaptation of Wu Zixu's story in the book is very good and very close to reality. It can be felt that the author's displacement during the Anti-Japanese War resonates with Wu Zixu to a certain extent. As for the two stories the author added to the original story, I think they are also very good. These stories affect Wu Zixu's heart and let us see the contradictions of Zixu's revenge mentality. I have only read it once, and my understanding is too simple. I will review it again after I have experienced more in a few years [Salute]
I don't know how to go, but I still move forward and gain insights into life along the way!
I failed seriously in the 2024 college entrance examination. I am like Wu Zixu in front of Jiang.
Wonderful, unlike those cool revenge articles, the author's calmness is revealed in the text, which makes me have endless aftertaste [Like][Like][Like]
The language is beautiful and the plot is gripping
This is the charm of words, the shock of words
I haven't finished watching it yet. Can you please don't worry and let me rate it?
The story is newly compiled, the plot is interesting, the language is beautiful, the travelogue style is written in a way that appeals to both refined and popular tastes, and it has profound cultural heritage and philosophical speculation.
The writing is so beautiful and has a very gentle feeling
I particularly like its writing style
The language is elegant and beautiful
Hatred cannot be let go
The yearning and departure at every stage are also the hopes of young people who are crushed to death under the rapid wheels of modern society.
Because I read an article about Jiang Shang when I was a sophomore in high school, and that night I was completely impressed by the author's writing style. After returning home, I immediately read an entire novel.
The ending is subtle, timeless and meaningful. Leave blank...
