"Chinese Tea Classic" is a monograph in the field of tea that summarizes previous achievements and research progress in modern tea science and tea culture. The original version of the "Chinese Tea Classic" is in urgent need of adding new content. To this end, the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Shanghai Culture Publishing House made a joint effort to conduct a comprehensive revision of the 1992 edition of the "Chinese Tea Classic". The new edition focuses on enriching new tea products, the cultivation of pollution-free organic tea, facility agriculture, and tea quality safety and testing; it strengthens the content of tea culture and adds a chapter on tea economy; it also corrects and adjusts relevant chapters such as tea history and tea sets to make the content more suitable for the needs of the times. Due to the expansion of content, the number of words in the book has increased by more than 30%, and the length of the book has been revised by more than 40%.
