[Clever power fantasy] + [righteous male lead] + [some angst] + [borrowed tropes]
Though this world has a bright sun, there are still places its light cannot reach, where countless restless spirits and sinister ghosts lurk.
As for me, Ye Jian, I’ll cut them all down with a single strike!
May every place touched by my blade be filled with light.
And so, this blade is named Great Light!
Now that the Divine Emperor is dead, I shall become the new god!
Watch Ye Jian inherit the Great Emperor’s legacy and rise step by step to the peak of power, bringing peace and prosperity to all under heaven!
[“A dashing young man on horseback, who in Litang doesn’t know the king?” This story contains a high dose of Ding Zhen. Read with caution!]
