Leaving the Past Behind, Welcoming Xin

In her previous life, Li Chi, the crown prince of the fallen Li Kingdom, struggled to survive in enemy territory. Wei Xin, a princess of the Wei Kingdom with a capricious temperament, chose him as her study companion on the day of her coming-of-age ceremony. The princess knew Li Chi was no ordinary man. It was only later, when the Wei Kingdom was invaded, that she realized just how great the ambition of her young companion was. "Li Chi, Li Chi, in the end, I thought too highly of myself and underestimated you. If there is another life, I never want to meet you again."

In their next life, Wei Xin is a wealthy young woman of the Wei family. Li Chi never formally enters her life, but silently protects her all along, leaving only after she marries and has a child.
