During a rest stop on the way to her wedding, Si Yu’er stretched.
A large bird flew overhead, and she looked up in confusion.
A huge bird dropping landed in her mouth, choking her to death.
Damn it, she was supposed to become the marquis’s wife!
A conspiracy! It had to be a conspiracy!
Given a second life, Si Yu’er discovers that the marquis she was supposed to marry is Zong Yuan, the proud younger boy who once lived at her home.
Back then, the proud and naive Zong Yuan had written a betrothal letter to Si Yu’er himself, thinking that would be enough to marry her.
But someone else got there first and sent her a betrothal letter.
His own letter, written in black and white, seemed especially shabby. He hid in the ancestral hall and cried, burning it little by little over a candle.
But now Zong Yuan hides the betrothal letter someone else sent her, then grabs the hem of her clothes with the letter he wrote himself in hand. His eyes are red, and he cries so pitifully it breaks your heart.
“Elder Sister, will you marry Zong Yuan... please?”
Is this the end?
It was well written, but the ending was a bit rushed.
The beginning was good, but this ending 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
The author is great, why doesn't he even have an ending? I'm looking forward to their ending! I want to see them get married!!!
