Sima Wuzai, Emperor Hui’s fourth daughter, was nicknamed Jiao Jiao. Her birth mother was Empress Yang Xianrong, and she was originally titled Princess Qinghe. When the Western Jin fell and chaos engulfed Luoyang, the imperial clan fled in every direction. Sima Wuzai became separated from her family and sisters along the way, and her carriage was seized. Her maid Xuehua and she were sold to Qian Wen of Wuxing County as servants. Because of her beauty, Qian Wen grew jealous of her and abused her to death. So the person now lying on a broken mat in the mass grave is Lu Jiao, from the modern era.

Lu Jiao was a working history teacher with five years of experience. Whenever she prepared lessons on the chaos of the Five Barbarians, she grieved that emperors had plunged the people into turmoil for their own selfish ends.
