Desperate for a chance to break through, Han Nana, who has never managed to become famous, agrees to pretend to be a couple with popular star Wen Hedong. Her role is to help him break up his current on-screen pairing, “East Meets West.” But while filming the variety show with Wen Hedong, she meets Qiu Kexiu, a man who feels destined to be hers. On one side are career opportunities and the fame and fortune that may follow; on the other is a heart-stirring love, along with the push and pull of fearing loss while wanting to draw closer. She’s torn between two things she can’t have at once.
Popular star Wen Hedong is troubled by his fans’ increasingly intense obsession with his on-screen pairing, and wants to put an end to the partnership that gives him so much trouble. But Yuan Shangxi, the other half of the pairing, doesn’t see it that way. Having already blurred the line between acting and reality, she’s willing to fight to the death to keep their pairing alive.
