Fu Qingyi has always been a model student who refuses to back down. Even if he's soft all over, he still puts on a tough front.
Then he meets Shen Mianmian, who fears nothing. At their very first encounter, she plays the hero and rescues him from a gang of thugs.
But Fu Qingyi, held by the collar, insists, "I'm fine." He scowls, wishing they could spend the rest of their lives never seeing each other again!
At their second encounter, Fu Qingyi is still insisting, "I'm fine," just before collapsing from a high fever. Once again, he gets the special treatment of being grabbed by the collar.
At their third encounter, Fu Qingyi is carrying furniture upstairs. His face hidden behind the furniture, he hears a familiar voice and twists his ankle when he loses focus. Seeing her hand reach for his neck, he says with a dark look, "I'm fine!"
But little by little, Shen Mianmian realizes that Fu Qingyi, the most stubborn man around, has gone from looking at her as if he could devour her to looking as if he wants to hide her away.
