The three Lan siblings are the orphaned children of a hero. They grew up weathering hardship, and stayed true to their parents’ charitable work supporting the children of incarcerated people. Lan Qiao, a nurse, and the doctor Gong Zhengze go from getting to know each other to falling in love and pledging themselves to one another. They save lives together and share a sweet everyday life. The story also follows other young people, each with their own love and life. With youth at their side, they all create meaning in their lives and make the most of their youth.
