Help! The Cool, Brilliant Scholar Pins Her in His Arms to Tutor Her

A fiery, prickly school queen × a cool, slow-to-catch-on top student

[Childhood friends + reunion + unrequited love + healing + a long-planned romance]

As a child, Jiang Xiaozhi fell in love at first sight with the kid who lived across the hall.

But they were young and clueless, with no idea what love was.

Once she figured out what love meant, she went for it without hesitation.

Her confession was a simple question: “Do you like me?”

He gave her a firm “No,” and that was that.

Three months later, her childhood friend left without saying goodbye.

Three years later, they met again.

In their second year of high school, Shi Qi returned to Jiangcheng for the sake of the kid who lived across the hall.

As a teenager, he had secretly loved the girl next door for years.

But family circumstances had made him insecure and fragile.

So when she asked that question, he instinctively said no.

He was slow to notice when others liked or loved him.

Even at seventeen, he still couldn’t be sure whether Jiang Xiaozhi liked him.

The only thing he knew for certain now was that he loved her.

So he had only two things to do:

First, help her get into a good university.

Second, make her fall for him and confess to him.

“This is a story about two stubborn fools who secretly love each other.”

Each thinks the other doesn’t like them.

“Shi Qi is too timid to admit he’s in love,”

“Jiang Xiaozhi is too stubborn to admit she’s in love,”

“But that doesn’t stop them from charging fearlessly into love.”
