One day, Yu Le wakes up in a parallel world of beast tamers, his soul having crossed over into another body.
Origin Beasts invade, and Soul Masters summon Soul Beasts to fight them and protect humanity.
“My Soul Beast is a dragon!”
Whenever Yu Le introduces it that way, all he gets is a chorus of laughter.
“Who doesn't recognize a little black snake?”
“If that's a dragon, then mine is the Divine White Tiger!”
Then the White Tiger and its master both got beaten up.
Later, Yu Le gives up and says, “My Soul Beast is a snake.”
Everyone replies, “Don't listen to him. Have you ever seen a snake that can soar through the clouds and hurl lightning?”
“That's a dragon wearing snakeskin!”
Yu Le roars in frustration, “What exactly are you people trying to do?”
