Over three thousand years on the Dongzhou Continent, 9,999 steps on the Ascension Stairway, with a tribulation at every step. Mu Tianhe was the only person ever to complete the staircase, endure all 9,999 Five Elements Tribulations, and ascend to immortality from the Ascension Platform.
What's more, Mu Tianhe attained the Dao through martial arts.
At Mount Huitian, corpses littered the ground and blood flowed like a river. Mu Tianhe single-handedly killed the Evil Venerable of the Evil Realm and nearly ten thousand experts, but he was gravely wounded and fell unconscious. A formation left behind by an ancient primordial sage suddenly activated and swallowed him whole.
When he awoke, Mu Tianhe found himself in a strange new world. It was home to unfamiliar races, but he could sense no laws of the Heavenly Dao.
Where would the road lead?
