Su Mo grips his long blade and stares at a huge red eye in the abyss. He cannot see the monster's whole form or even tell what it is, but he knows it is responsible for wiping out every species on Earth and bringing humanity to the brink of extinction. It is the Lord of Darkness.
Su Mo is one of humanity's strongest survivors in the late days of the apocalypse. Carrying the fate of all humanity on his shoulders, he resolutely advances toward the monster. He is the first human to come this close to the Lord of Darkness. If he can kill it, human civilization can rise again. But when Su Mo charges into the darkness, everything changes.
After he transmigrates back to the time before the apocalypse, everything starts anew. Su Mo becomes a beacon, lighting the way forward for humanity.
