Blue Rattlesnake

Lu Ping sneaked into the Western-style building owned by Japanese lackey Chen Miaogen and attempted to steal "a safe in a corner on the second floor." However, he accidentally discovered Chen Miaogen's body and the safe was empty. Out of interest, Lu Ping decided to solve the case himself and make some extra money. Lu Ping easily pinned the murderer on the "Blue Rattlesnake", and the main line of the story became Lu Ping's battle of wits and courage with him. The close combat between the two was also particularly exciting. However, Lu Ping's process of identifying the murderer was too simple and even far-fetched, and the ending of the story was too similar to a Sherlock Holmes story.
