Curious Tales of Republican-Era China

The stories in this book are very interesting! I especially hate the man nicknamed "Li Chibi". He is a heavy drinker and illiterate. He is really lazy and greedy. However, I admire the old man Shen Hongyi in the book. He is still in good health at more than a hundred years old. He can herd cattle with his great-grandson Yuan and his grandchildren, and his family is also harmonious. The words he said before his death also inspired me a lot. Only by being kind can your family be happy. This book allowed me to see all kinds of strange people and strange things during the Republic of China, which was quite interesting.
