Synopsis

This book is like an old man telling the story of Peiping, which made me feel the historical heritage of this city. I especially like the description of the history of Peking in the book. The changes in each dynasty made me feel like I was personally there. However, I kind of hate the characters who stole Youyan. They brought a lot of war to the city. Overall, this is a book worth reading and it gave me a deeper understanding of Peking.
