Happiness of Others

The Happiness of Others is a drama collection published by Hu Yepin in 1929. Hu Yepin (May 4, 1903 - February 7, 1931), formerly known as Hu Peiji, was a native of Fuzhou, Fujian. He was a member of the Chinese Left-wing Writers Alliance and one of the Five Martyrs of the Left-wing Alliance. He dropped out of school in his early years and became an apprentice in a gold shop. In 1920, he went to Shanghai to study. In 1924, he participated in editing "People's Literature and Art Weekly" in Beijing and published his debut novel "In the Rain". In 1925, he married Ding Ling. In 1928, he went to Shanghai to co-edit the magazine "Red and Black" with Shen Congwen.
