The day I broke through to the Nascent Soul stage, I succeeded and saw a “sword spirit” sitting on the Zhumu Sword. He was tiny, dressed in blue, with long black hair and a rosy face. He stared at me and asked, “Who are you?”
“You’re sitting on my sword. Shouldn’t I be the one asking you that?”
He looked at me for a long while, then glanced at the sword and hesitantly said, “Maybe I’m your sword spirit.”
I nodded. “If you say so, then you are.”
The male and female leads travel to Cangyan Mountain, unwittingly get caught up in a feud between its sects, and accidentally enter a hidden realm. They learn the male lead’s identity, then uncover the origins of a series of events connected to Cangyan Mountain.
(Female sword wielder + male sword spirit + little qilin (roast meat))
Lighthearted writing, no angst.
There are no absolute villains in this story, only people with different allegiances.
Note: The “two male leads” tag on the novel is wrong for some reason. This is a story about a male and female lead!
