You Yue is the author of The Bloodthirsty Demon Venerable. Driven by the villain You Yue's unwilling obsession, she splits off a wisp of her soul in every loop and attaches it to the male lead's Soul-Eater Sword. Then, during a botched loop, she bewitched the male lead into coming to the modern world and killing the author. After being killed, the author transmigrates to a time before the story begins. She starts swinging between three-minute bursts of frantic training and bouts of extreme laziness. When she discovers she is not controlled by this world and learns about the difference in how time passes there, she takes the male lead around to fight monsters and level up. But in the end, the plot still controls her, and she has no choice but to fake her death. When she wakes up afterward, she discovers that the male lead is the person who killed her in the modern world. She tries to hide, but he recognizes her as his master and keeps her imprisoned by his side for a year. Meanwhile, the original You Yue sees that the plot hasn't unfolded the way it was supposed to and, unwilling to accept it, manipulates people's hearts to steer them back toward the story. Eventually, the original You Yue's father recognizes her and takes her back to Youhuang Palace. The male lead's father also learns that the Soul-Eater Sword can travel to the modern world and begins trying to seize it. To defeat the Demon King, You Yue seeks out the original You Yue and learns how to do it. She becomes a god from a position of weakness and defeats the Demon King, then uses herself as a sword scabbard and takes her own life.
