My Strange Hunts in the Countryside

To write this novel well, I used my time out of work to return to the village where I lived as a child. I hoped to clear my head, and also to gather material on paranormal events. A woman's corpse found by the lotus pond became an unsolved case. There was the shadow that flashed past the cottage by the pond, ghostly walls that trapped travelers in endless circles, and weasels seeking to become spirits. And these were far from the only strange things happening in the countryside.
