A Collector's Journey Through the Beast World

Hmm... Great. Yan Xi looked at the sickle in her hand and the System, brimming with enthusiasm, and smiled. Yan Xi: Is this what you call a happy life? Let’s go back. System: Host, we have to work hard with our own hands if we want to get rich! Don’t worry, I’ve got experience. Starting with nothing but a sickle, Yan Xi had no choice but to roll up her sleeves and get to work. Yan Xi: Hm? What’s this? Food, and lots of it! I’m taking it! Yan Xi: Huh? What’s this? Medicinal herbs! Good stuff! I’m taking it! Yan Xi: What? What’s this? A little one! So cute! I’m taking it! System: Hard work really does make you rich! If Yan Xi wanted to survive in this strange world, she’d have to build it up from the ground, wouldn’t she? She must have been out of her mind to believe the System’s nonsense! Sure enough, there’s no such thing as a pie falling from the sky, and those cute little creatures aren’t always there for you to pet. Good heavens, how did you turn from a tiny cutie into a six-foot-tall man? I didn’t mean to! I didn’t know you weren’t supposed to pet beasts! Oh no, I’m in trouble.
