The First Case of Miss Marple is the fourth story in the Miss Marple series that I have read so far, and it is also my favorite Miss Marple story so far. I'm very glad that my mental journey has many similarities with Miss Marple's, from the initial suspicion to the complete elimination of suspicion, and then precisely because almost all the clues pointed to Lawrence, I had to suspect that he was the murderer. The clues were also deliberately made by him for the purpose of reverse interference. It turned out that I was right, which made me very happy. And the ending is still the classic grandma-style of the lovers finally getting married. Ha, of course I am referring to the pastor and his little wife. My favorite in this story is probably Griselda, and then the priest. Oh, I really like their love. The classic grandma-style warm ending - even if there is a lot of malice in life, truth, goodness and beauty will last forever in the world!

As expected of Grandma, this article is quite suitable as Miss Marple's first appearance. Although the reasoning part is a little rushed, and the foreshadowing is a bit too long and confusing (?), It does exactly outline the image of small rural villagers who are keen on filial piety. Just reading the first few chapters is a headache. In such a small village, a shrewd little old lady with ears and eyes got involved in the murder case and demonstrated her amazing evidence collection and reasoning abilities. "The obvious is often true." This is the iron rule throughout this work.

I also like the character of the priest very much. Although he is a bit unlucky, he is very cute. The plot in the book is very tight, and everyone is suspected. It made me always want to know what the truth is. I think this book is suitable for people who like mysteries, and I can't wait to read Agatha Christie's other works!
