These four short stories are really enjoyable to read. Mitarai is very similar to Poirot in Agatha's novel, but he doesn't have the joy of Poirot. Although sometimes Mitarai's weirdness is very funny, the first and third are serious cases, and the second and third are very similar to Mitarai's emotional experience, right? The musician in the second one can see Mitarai's eagerness to cherish a relationship. To be honest, the fourth one is Mitarai's central air conditioner, but it is really cool to know who Mitarai likes. I don't know what kind of different meaning it will have when reading other books [laughing]
With only a few clues, Mitarai slowly deduced the case of "power and usurpation in the underworld" and the patricide case of Nakao. I really want to open his mouth and see the structure of his brain. Among Mitarai's friends and musicians described by Ishioka, Ishioka is indeed forcing others to make things difficult. Even if they are close, they can't secretly help their friends make decisions. Miss Reio, I remember it seems to be in the dark slope case...
I thought I was seeing the most sincere friendship in the world that is hard to let go, but in the end I realized it was love.
Wow, this book is great! I really like the detective Mitarai Keiyoshi, his character is so interesting! And each short story is wonderful and kept my brain spinning. I kind of hate that urinal that always goes missing though, it's so weird! The author Shoji Shimada is really great at writing such an interesting story. I can't wait to see his other work!
