Snow on Cold Mountain

A young man, a life, a journey through the martial world, a glimpse into the affairs of the imperial court. May you endure half a lifetime of hardship and return still a young man.

When blades clash, the flute plays a mournful tune.

Withered bones fall, and wild crows shriek.

A valiant man rides east, then returns west,

Sitting with his regrets, gazing north toward Jiangnan.

Who knows whose husband he was,

Or whose son he was?

How cruel that vast, empty sky,

As I sit in silence, gazing at the cold mountain.
