The Phoenix Prince Dotes on the Proud Goddess

No melodrama, no misunderstandings, super sweet with no angst. A 1v1 sweet romance.

A devoted, reserved, and possessive male lead vs. a proud, lively, and mischievous female lead.

The Crown Prince of the Feng Clan of Nanyu, Feng Zhi, has a secret in his heart: he likes His Highness Chen Jue of the Ninth Heaven.

But the only person he has ever told about his feelings for Chen Jue is his second brother, Feng Ze.

By chance, Chen Jue comes to stay in Nanyu, and somehow everyone around Feng Zhi finds out how he feels.

Feng Zhi: "Was I really that obvious?"

Everyone: "Extremely obvious."

Then everyone around them starts shipping them.

Before they get together, Feng Zhi is restrained and self-controlled, always afraid of losing her.

After they get together, he's still the same.

Chen Jue teases him mercilessly: "How did I never realize you were so clingy?"

Feng Zhi fires back without holding back: "You never realized I liked you, either!"

Chen Jue: Fine! You win!

Feng Zhi once asked for Chen Jue's hand when she came of age, only to be mercilessly rejected.

Heartbroken, he said to forget it!

But later, whenever Chen Jue was in danger, and even when she stood alone with her sword pointed at the Ninth Heaven, he always stood resolutely by her side, defying everything for her.

So later, Feng Zhi brings up the old story of his proposal.

Chen Jue says she doesn't know, doesn't remember, and has no idea what he's talking about.

In any case, she refuses to admit that she rejected his proposal.
