Scent of the Painted Screen

Wuqing, the young master of a manor known as the “Heartless Young Master,” meets Lu Yunqing, a “master of disguise,” during an assassination attempt. Though they are sworn enemies, they become friends after a fight, even going so far as to call each other brothers. Little does Wuqing know that Lu Yunqing is a breathtaking beauty who attracts not only the envy of women, but the attentions of men as well. When Wuqing discovers his good friend’s secret, he falls in love with her at first sight. But Lu Yunqing has no idea how to handle the situation, especially with Zhou Zhining watching her like a hawk at Wuqing’s side, and her own betrothed whose fate is unknown. Yet Wuqing’s wholehearted devotion eventually moves Lu Yunqing, and the two lovers find their happy ending.
