Yuan Li is a young woman with literary ambitions. She is talented, beautiful, and pure, and can get drunk after just a few sips, though she acts perfectly normal when drunk. By chance, she meets Sun Zhu, a girl with extraordinary musical talent, and the two become kindred spirits. But on a snowy night, someone sets them up. Yuan Li is rescued, while Sun Zhu jumps from a building and dies. Sun Zhu and her brother, Sun Mo, lost their father when they were young and are deeply devoted to each other. After studying abroad for seven years, Sun Mo returns home to find his sister dead. While sorting through her belongings, he hears a recording and misunderstands Yuan Li, vowing to take revenge on her. Sun Mo and Yuan Li had actually formed a bond when they were young. Still clinging to the past, Sun Mo meets her again briefly and discovers that she is just as wonderful as before, gradually falling for her. But Yuan Li already has a boyfriend, and Sun Mo is naturally unwilling to accept it...
