Marina, a beautiful star who has been successful in the film and television industry for most of her life, moves into the country town where Miss Marple lives. The still-charming female star held a grand party to entertain the residents of the town. Every guest came forward to chat enthusiastically. However, the hostess who was originally chatting and laughing suddenly looked at a point in the void, her expression seemed to be frozen. This strange scene was captured by several attentive guests. There were different opinions afterward. The only similar statement was that everyone felt that the hostess seemed to have seen bad luck at that time. Sure enough, bad luck struck soon after, and the gorgeous actress' mansion ushered in a series of murders...

A particularly sad story. At first, I thought Mrs. Heather was accidentally killed, but later I discovered that the author had a reason to describe the character of the deceased. The TV series version is very well adapted.
I couldn't believe that my wife was the murderer, but she escaped death every time. She was so lucky, and the other victims were gone in an instant. That portrait, the problematic child, the nagging fans, the real revenge.
Good intentions should not be stupid. Good intentions that do not take into account the mood of others, but only care about your own happiness, will eventually kill others and yourself. Adopt children, abandon them, be moody, and the future is always so miserable.
When I read the first one, I wanted to read all her books.
Grandma's 21st book checks in. An accident many years ago led to uncontrollable murders many years later.
This book is great! Agatha Christie's suspense setting is really amazing! Every character in the story is so interesting, and their actions and motivations kept me guessing who the murderer was. I particularly like Miss Marple, she is simply a detective queen! And the author's writing style is very humorous, which made me enjoy reading it. I can't wait to see more of her work!
Ah... As expected of Agatha
My first reaction was that the celebrity's husband was responsible, and then I thought it was Mrs. So-and-so (the original owner of the house). In the end, did the celebrity commit suicide or [cry with laughter]
The ending is unexpected, but the motive is very reasonable. Marina's long-term grief turns into extreme hatred in an unexpected encounter, and murder occurs.
A complete tragedy, no one (including Heather Badcock) had any malicious intent, but it happened by accident.
After reading the Miss Marple classic series for the second time, I always forget who the murderer is.
A very sad story. I could vaguely guess the murderer and the prisoner, but I didn't expect the motives to be so connected. The characters are intricately connected and Agatha is really good at adding smoke and mirrors.
The resentment of an unfortunate person against the source of his misfortune
The murderer is easy to guess, but the complex emotions are worth pondering
