Senior police officer Luke encounters Miss Pinkerton from the countryside on his way to London by train. The old lady claimed that she was on her way to Scotland Yard to uncover the truth about several murders. Surprisingly, she died in a car accident shortly afterwards.
Luke decided to pretend to be a writer and go to the countryside to find out. It would be better to call it "It's Not Difficult to Kill"
The plot of this book is so exciting! I especially like the part where Luke decides to pretend to be a writer to investigate the truth, it feels very exciting! Agatha Christie is really good at writing. Every case in the book seems to be somewhere between an "accident" and a murder, making it unpredictable. And I think the character of Luke is very brave. He has been trying to find the truth and restore peace to the village. I strongly recommend you to read this book "Those who defy me will perish"!
