Anne, a young girl whose parents died, followed her father's former friend to live in London. She loved this bizarre city, but in her heart she still wanted to go out for adventure - to Africa, which she had read about in books, and it would be best to meet a silent, tall and ideal man.
Unexpectedly, a murder case became an opportunity for Annie to take risks. She allowed her intuition to lead her, risking all her fortune to participate in the investigation, determined to find the real murderer - the mysterious "man in brown"!
The big ship of destiny has set sail, and the winds and waves ahead are rough. Can courage be Anne's guiding light?
Reader comments
I particularly like the heroine Anne, her courage and determination are admirable. As for the annoying characters, I think the mysterious "man in brown" is really both loveable and hateful, and his existence adds to the mysterious atmosphere of the story. Agatha Christie is the absolute queen of detective fiction. Her works are always so fascinating that I can't stop reading! I highly recommend that you also read The Man in Brown.
Anne is a very adventurous person. Whatever she decides to do, she does it immediately. She takes action regardless of whether she has money or not. In the process, I met a group of good friends, which was very interesting.
Everyone is unique, humorous, enjoying life in danger, and cute in language. Love, family affection, and friendship are all there, so precious.
Still very interesting
Relaxing, humorous, romantic, and suspenseful, it is a heroine novel that combines Mary Sues and anti-Mary Sues.
The suspense level of this book is average, but the fun is very good! ! ! Very nice! ! ! I can still turn it over! ! ! ! !
