The content is average. For me, it is more about expanding the story of Japanese mythology, especially Yamata no Orochi, which was mentioned in many anime I watched before, and I also learned a lot here.
The writing style of this book is very unique, the writing is smooth, and the plot has ups and downs, making people feel like they are at the scene of the crime. I especially like the character Yoshiki Takeshi. His intelligence and decisiveness are impressive. Pochi probably knew from the beginning that the murderer was Nomura Misao. He liked her but was not good at expressing it, so he would pay special attention to his sweetheart's schedule. In the end, he wanted to persuade Nomura Misao to surrender and express his feelings alone, but he never said it.
