Bertram's Inn

Good. The stories narrated by foreigners always make me feel a little cumbersome? Like Crime and Punishment, The Count of Monte Cristo, and the style of this book. There was a lot of foreshadowing in the early stages, but the truth suddenly came to light later on, and it looked pretty good. But to be honest, it did not meet my expectations. Maybe it was influenced by the works of Edogawa Ranpo and Otoichi I had read before, so I thought this book was also very exciting. Well, maybe the novella is like this, or maybe the author's style is different from Chinese and Japanese stories. She pays more attention to storytelling and drama than to reasoning, that's all. Very exciting. One star is deducted for the murderer's motive (it's not that you can't love money, but this is the reason why you want money???
