Pinned against the wall, Jian Yi tries to keep her sobs quiet. “Big brother, could you please let me go? You can have all the food, I beg you~” ಠ~ಠ
Seeing her pitiful expression, Sun Boting holds back a laugh and keeps teasing her. “Supplies are important in times like these, but I'm a normal man, you know. A man. You get it...”
His voice grows heavier, his face drawing closer, and Jian Yi bursts into tears on the spot.
When he sees she really is crying, Sun Boting is at a loss. “Y-you, don't cry! I... you...”
Seeing him panic only makes the little troublemaker cry harder.
“Big brother~ I'm scared~”
Head aching, Sun scoops her into his arms and comforts her. “It's okay, good girl, don't be scared. Big brother's got you.”

At long last, after he finally wins her over, the little troublemaker asks him, “Big brother, will you always love me?”
He answers a different question, and she won't let it go. She gets up and tries to run again.
The apocalypse powerhouse pulls her into his arms and soothes her. “I've been plotting this for ages. I intend to be your lifelong partner, and I have what it takes, so for now, I don't plan to let you go anytime in the next ten years.”
I haven't finished reading it yet. I really like the use of the characters' hearts and expressions in the first few chapters. I said I was struck by the cuteness. When I saw the expressions and the words in front of the characters, I couldn't help but feel a little excited 😳
