"Persimmons Are Ripe" is the third collection of prose works by literary couple Liu Jinen and Li Jinhong, following their two works "Cherrys Are Red" and "Apricot Blossoms Are Blooming".
It contains 115 essays written by the author between 2017 and 2021. There are essays and travel notes, as well as memoirs, essays, political commentaries and sketches. It is divided into five sections: family affairs inventory, remembering the original intention, beautiful national scenery, British travels and essays.
The author has devoted his talents and knowledge to showing rich and colorful real life and historical scenes. Each article is deeply touching and touches the readers' hearts everywhere.

I like the touching stories in the book, they make me feel the beauty of life and the power of emotion. However, there was one character in the book that I kind of hated, and his behavior was really irritating. Overall, this is a very good collection of essays. I recommend you read it!
