Synopsis

Shangguan Yu enlisted at fifteen and repeatedly distinguished himself in battles against the orcs. At just twenty-two, he became the youngest major general since the founding of the Tianfeng Empire.

A precocious prodigy, he was spirited and ambitious. He handpicked the finest soldiers in the army and formed the thousand-strong Flying Feather Corps.

They led every charge against the enemy, breached cities and fortresses, and won countless remarkable victories. In the end, he drew suspicion and the resentment of his fellow officers.

At last, during the Tianfeng army's Northern Desert campaign against the orcs, he was abandoned as a pawn. His superior tricked him into an orc encirclement, and the Flying Feather Corps he had poured his heart and soul into was wiped out.

From then on, he set out on the path of revenge, proclaiming: “If Heaven is unjust, I'll replace it. If the land is unjust, I'll build a new one!”
