After I Quit, My Former Boss Spoiled Me Rotten

[Workplace romance + sweet love + regretful pursuit + both leads are each other's first]

Synopsis: Tian Pan has been with Yan Yuming for three years. She's not only his capable assistant, but also his secret girlfriend, a relationship he's never made public.

He's getting engaged, and he's kept it from her.

She takes the opportunity to ask for a breakup, leaving with what little dignity she has left.

After leaving Yan Yuming, Tian Pan thrives. Her career keeps climbing, and suitors keep appearing.

Yan Yuming, however, can't stand it any longer. He blocks her at the door and says, “By your standards, you're already an old maid. How about coming to get our marriage license with me tomorrow?”

She says, “Making money is better than chasing men. I'm not interested.”

He coaxes her: “Only children have to choose. Adults can have both. Be good. Once we're married, both I and my money will be yours.”
