Slaying Across the Nine Heavens: Tianhe

Heaven and Earth are not benevolent: they treat all things as straw dogs. Water and fire show no mercy, swallowing all living things and turning them into wandering spirits. In this day and age, are Heaven and Earth truly unkind, or is it water and fire that show no mercy? The most heartless of all is humanity.

Everyone lives in this world, yet some have forgotten why they live. The creatures of the continent slaughter one another without end, while foreign races watch covetously from beyond. The people simply enjoy the present, with no concern for the threat beyond their borders.

A boy appears out of nowhere, born into this troubled age and determined to change its injustices. He will unite every force he can and wipe out the foreign races. How much must he go through, and how much must he endure?

Killing is a sin, whatever the motive, whether for good or evil. The sins one bears must always be repaid. No matter how powerful a person becomes, they are ultimately just a wandering soul beneath the Nine Springs, though there, a soul still yearns for someone it loves.
