[Maybe you should skip this one. The plot kind of falls apart. One more addition to my list of embarrassing past works.]
[A proud, talented princess of a fallen kingdom, skilled in both letters and arms, vs. a passionate, free-spirited war god with unmatched combat skills] [Female lead disguises herself as a man]
The Xichen Kingdom fell, and the empress and princess burned themselves alive in the palace.
Three years later, a gifted young man emerged in Donglin. He was learned and highly skilled in martial arts, and stirred up a storm across half the city.
Later, when the remnants of Xichen rebelled, “he” went to war alongside the carefree Prince. Then “he” transformed into the supposedly deceased “crown princess” of Xichen: Her Highness Princess Anning, the Ninth Princess.
As the two armies faced off, one stood proudly in red, the other cold-eyed in white.
Affection and hatred collided, sparking between them.
...Just when they were helplessly falling for each other, they were separated by the hatred of their past lives.
We fought side by side. We raised our cups and sang together. But you are the enemy fate has destined for me.
1. This is a fictional setting, so please don't overanalyze the details.
2. There may be a few original additions to the setting.
3. Strong leads, both virgins. It may be sweet at first, but the ending is tragic. Maybe. I'm not so sure anymore.
4. The male lead has unmatched combat skills.
5. A humble confession: I accidentally selected the sweet-romance tag, and I can't change it.
