In a Year of Famine, She Leads Her Family to Prosperity Through Farming

One morning, Meng Jianwei wakes to find herself in the midst of a famine that devours people. Her little brother has been kidnapped, and her parents are missing.

Disguised as a man, Meng Jianwei and her second younger brother, Meng Xu, depend on each other as they roam the land, only to be hunted by starving refugees driven mad with hunger.

Luckily, an entire shipping container of supplies came with her when she transmigrated...

Even luckier, a handsome, aloof hunter takes the siblings under his protection.

But she is clearly disguised as a young scholar, so why does the cold hunter look at her so strangely?

Oh no, what does he think she is? She's not a man!

He Zhen: I am He Zhen, courtesy name Zhizhu, as in “see the small to understand the great.”

Meng Jianwei: ...

He Zhen: I have two younger brothers, and you have two younger brothers. That's enough to carry on the family line.

Meng Jianwei: ...Can I say that I need to carry on the family line too?
