"Want to see a picture of the murderer?"
Miss Marple, entertained by her nephew Raymond, went on vacation to the West Indies in the Caribbean.
Just when she was bored, the chatty Major Palgrave told her about a strange murder case.
Just when the colonel was about to hand the snapshot of the murderer to Miss Marple, his expression suddenly changed, he hid the photo and changed the subject.
Miss Marple's curiosity was aroused, and she was ready to ask what happened the next day. Unexpectedly, the next day she received the bad news that Major Palgrave had died of hypertension last night!
That snapshot has also disappeared...

Misfortune comes from the mouth... Maybe the old major can be more prestigious for a few more years. The boss is probably a born bad guy. For the sake of wealth and his own incompetence, he can only eat soft food. He is also ruthless. Some women are really stupid in the face of love.
Simple case + confusing character relationships and complex social circles, Grandma's consistent writing style. What surprised me was that the clues to reveal the truth were so crude [facepalm] In addition, the characterization is still as strong as ever.
Miss Marple is so smart, she discovered the final murderer from the details. However, it is better not to tell stories to others, as it can easily lead to death, it is super dangerous!
It's common to guess the murderer wrongly. I couldn't help it. I didn't know who the murderer was until the last moment. I just followed the characters and forgot to think about it.
The plot of this book is very engaging, full of suspense and surprises. Agatha Christie is a master storyteller! After Miss Marple's curiosity was piqued, I joined her in trying to uncover the truth about the murder. The behavior of the characters is very interesting, especially the major who died suddenly, adding a lot of mystery to the story. I really like this kind of mystery novel, it feels like exploring a mystery with friends.
It's funny, Miss Marple is so cool.
I am a fan of Grandma's books and I love to read her books and the film and television adaptations (different versions) of her books. I will read them again every once in a while.
It's wonderful. If the film version is restored enough, I think it's suitable to watch by the fire in winter.
Only after reading the ending will you realize the foreshadowing, it's so interesting [Adoration]
This grumpy old man is pretty good
Why is the finale a bit heartwarming when you send off to the airport [face covering]
After reading the account of witnessing a murder and this article, I must say: Don't believe those polite and gentle good gentlemen, men, and husbands in grandma's books!
