This is the story of Ye Dongchen, who transmigrates into a Western fantasy world with a steampunk setting.

He returns to his hometown to inherit the two acres of land left by his grandfather, and uses a battered crate to store his clothes.

Then one night, a panel appears in his mind.

“Clothes ×5, value: 0.5 gold coins. Sell?”

“Yes, confirm sale.”

The next morning, the panel updates: “Total balance: 0.3 gold coins.”

“Worn-out boots ×1, value: 0.2 gold coins. Sell?”

“Pocket watch ×1, value: 3 gold coins. Sell?”

“Underpants ×2, value: 0.2 gold coins. Sell?”

Ye Dongchen sells every last pair of his underpants. All of them.

“Fruit of Life ×1, value: 666 gold coins. Buy?”

“Automatic sprinkler ×1, value: 60 gold coins. Buy?”

“Underpants ×1, value: 0.5 gold coins. Buy?”

Ye Dongchen buys back his underpants at five times the price, tears in his eyes. Buy, buy, buy! He buys them all back.

Machinery, steam, differential engines, magic, knights, ruins, modification, farms. A new society in an old era, where technology and backwardness coexist. There is no legend of “the Fool” here, only the extraordinary life of a farmer.
