What are the Three Bodies? The first is nature (the Dharma Body), the second governs slaughter (the Reward Body), and the third serves all living beings (the Transformation Body).
People are divided into yin and yang, and everything has right and wrong. The Great Dao stands across the world. Those who follow its vertical path gather countless opportunities in one place. Those who follow its horizontal path use hundreds and thousands of opportunities to benefit all things.
As the saying goes, those who follow the Dao have many allies, while those who stray from it have few. Look at those who walk the vertical path: they can reach the peak above and the depths of the sea below. All their causes and effects ultimately return to the heart.
But those who walk the horizontal path can, at their greatest, change the hearts of all things, and at their least, bring about their own demise. This path has been difficult to cultivate since ancient times.
Looking at those who have mastered it, fewer than one in a hundred survive its trials. If even one of the right time, favorable terrain, and harmonious people is lacking, all that remains is a withered skeleton. After observing the horizontal path for hundreds of years, I learned this saying: "Corpses litter the path of the horizontal Dao, and withered bones bear the mandala."
Overall, it's very well written.
