The plot of this book is so exciting! The protagonists Arno and Elise have distinct personalities, and their experiences made me relate to them. Especially seeing the poor life of farmers reminded me of my own hardships. Arno and Elise fight for justice, and their courage and persistence are truly admirable. This book gave me a deeper understanding of history and made me appreciate my current life more. I highly recommend this book!

I'm a secular person, and it's hard not to see the bad ending of Mr. And Mrs. Carroll. But it's well written, so it's still five stars [crying]
