This book is the prequel story of "Assassin's Creed: Origins". It tells the story of Raya, an ambitious junior cadre of the Order of the Ancients when Ptolemy XII was in power. He accidentally discovered the Guardians from ancient documents and believed that they would become an obstacle to the development of the Order. He privately hired assassins to eradicate their bloodline, hoping to claim credit for his promotion. The last elder of the Guardians noticed something had changed and urgently summoned the protector of Siwa and the father of Bayek to investigate the matter. Bayek was puzzled by his father's sudden death, so he embarked on a journey to find his father and continued to grow in the process.

The plot of this book is very attractive. I especially like the protagonist Bayek. He is brave and persistent and will do anything to find his father. I also hate that killer, he is ruthless and will do anything for his own benefit. However, this also makes the story more exciting. Overall, this is a good book and worth reading.
