Xue Qiwen has been interning at a news website for over six months, working hard and hoping to land a permanent position.

Her partner, photojournalist Chen Xu, is a lazy, work-shirking, sharp-tongued rich kid who has let her down more than once.

At a matchmaking dinner arranged by their relatives, Xue Qiwen discovers that her blind date is Chen Xu. She rushes over, grabs his hand, and says, “No need for introductions. We know each other.”
