Qi Zhengming dies unexpectedly, but his misfortune turns into a blessing when he becomes Heaven's agent in the mortal world.
He helps the Third Prince find delicious food, searches for the missing mount of the Antarctic Immortal, captures fugitives who slipped off the Book of Life and Death, and helps Chang'e find the Jade Rabbit that descended to the mortal realm after falling in love...
But his pay as Heaven's agent... is apparently collecting the gods' everyday household items.
Sun Dasheng's hairs, Taishang Laojun's furnace slag, and even Sister Chang'e's... Ahem.
With the gods' immortal treasures at his disposal, Qi Zhengming overcomes adversity and turns his life around.
But gradually, Qi Zhengming discovers that the gods aren't carefree at all, and that none of this is as simple as it seems...
