I Borrow the Prince's Luck to Keep Death at Bay

[Everyone gets their comeuppance + no forgiveness, no looking back + leeching off others' luck + delusional male lead + sweet romance + transmigrate into a book and reborn + high-ranking female official]

In her previous life, Zhao Shijin transmigrated into the legitimate daughter of a general's household. Desperate for even a little affection from her family, she went through fire and water and gave everything she had. After she died suddenly, the System told her that she was merely a wicked supporting character in a story where everyone doted on the heroine, and that she had tried to steal the heroine's family from her.

Reborn, Zhao Shijin picks up her bundle and goes to seek refuge with a young prince whose luck is off the charts. Rumor has it he's cold-blooded and ruthless, with countless deaths to his name. Everyone trembles at the mere mention of him.

So why is this clingy, proud little puppy in front of me always imagining that I'm in love with him?

Later, she rises through the ranks, becomes a favorite of the Noble Consort, and is appointed a female official with a state salary.

Meanwhile, her biased parents, cold older brother, and short-tempered little brother all end up begging for her forgiveness.

In the end, they kneel before me and weep as they plead for forgiveness, but I never look back at them again.
