One day in a certain era, the N virus swept across the globe at a terrifying speed. The population plunged to less than one ten-thousandth of its former size. Technology regressed, institutions collapsed, and cities became forbidden zones. Forced to survive in the wilderness, people founded the Supreme Hall and the Academy of Technology in hopes of protecting themselves.
The protagonist, Lu Feng, arrives in this world for an utterly ridiculous reason and unlocks something called the General Goods System, setting off on a journey as a traveling merchant. But as he looks at the items in his hands, a strange seed, an empty wine bottle, a fake beard, and even a belt nearly worn to shreds, he can’t help thinking: You call this general goods?
