Fierce Heartbeat

Su Qing first met Shen Huailiang in a shabby alley on the east side of Beicheng. It was pouring that evening, and she kindly offered to hold an umbrella over him. He told her to get lost.

Shen Huailiang planned to apply to the medical school at Capital University. Su Qing’s plan was to get into a university in the same city as him.

That year, everyone thought the top scorer in the college entrance exams would come from No. 17 High School, because Shen Huailiang studied there. But who could have guessed he wouldn’t even sit the exams?

Years later, after studying painting for more than a decade, Su Qing submitted an application to Capital University’s medical school. She became the first top science-track scorer in No. 17 High School’s history.

Ten years after they parted, they met again at a hospital. Su Qing slapped him.

“Shen Huailiang, I’ll never forgive you.”

But we can fall in love again.

May everyone have the courage to start anew.

We fell in love in the cold of winter, parted in the evening breeze of midsummer, and met again as autumn approached. In the end, we’ll watch the next brilliant spring together.

The seasons turn, but our love never fades.
