A rare celestial phenomenon, the Blood Moon, will last for around ten days. Every night from 8 to 10 p.m., it appears as scheduled. Weak-bodied people bathed in its crimson light turn into zombies that only know how to skin, dismember, and devour human flesh. Each time the Blood Moon appears, the zombies grow stronger. The apocalypse will not truly begin until ten Blood Moon cycles have passed.
